On of the most interesting aspects of making music is the tension or exitement that occurs when you try to feel with your inner sense whether you actually like what you hear or not. Sometimes unexpected things come out that you really have to consider from different perspectives. 

There is of course the large scale form that you have to consider. Whether the thing you do is true to the plan you have in that aspect. But most of all it is the question whether it really gets your inner ear to vibrate and to create emotions. That is the most interesting part since it can differ from one day to another or depending on the mood you are in. Sometimes you hear things in another way, a more clear and precise way. I have one true way of knowing when I am really stuck with something. It is when I start to sneeze. It has happend that I sneezed for minutes after getting that feeling of being totally within that music.
